Controlled Variables

Controlled Variables:

1.     Room temperature

a.     Room temperature should remain constant throughout the experiment so that other variables would not get affected. Turning on air conditioner to certain temperature could control this variable.

2.     Place of an experiment

a.     Experiment should be done in same place. This variable will be controlled by conducting experiment in same place as you have started.

3.     Where fan stands

a.     Fan should stand in certain angle, distance and height upon the wind turbine and actually placing fan in certain angle, distance and height apart from the wind turbine could control this.

4.     Type of fan

a.     Since there are various types of fans that we are being provided, we need to conduct our experiment by using exactly same fan.

5.     Power of the fan

The power of the fan turned on should remain the same so that same power of wind can blow towards the wind turbine.
